Energy and carbon management doesn’t just make environmental sense; it makes hard commercial sense too. Since 2005 Nottingham City Council has run a series of efficiency initiatives to improve the energy performance of our building saving us over £1m on our energy bills.
Nottingham is one of the UK’s leading energy cities. Our successes include being the home of one of the largest energy-from -waste district heating networks, having the most solar rooftops per capita, the first public owned solar car park, a pioneering Greener HousiNG scheme which has delivered insulation to over 6,000 houses both private and council owned, the first heritage building – Wollaton Hall, to switch to LED lighting.
Energy is important to Nottingham as understanding our usage and finding ways to use less helps us reduce our running costs and look after the environment. We have over 10 years of experience in reducing business and domestic energy use and can help your business reduce its bills.
